RCG Group just completed a comprehensive audit aimed at strengthening safety, compliance and sustainability across our property portfolio in British Columbia and Alberta. Partnering with RiskCheck, a national provider of environnmental health and safety management solutions, allowed us access to their dynamic online platform with guidance from their experts.

The project encompassed a risk assessment for the exterior and interior areas of all 22 buildings within RCG’s British Columbia and Alberta portfolio. The property management department invested significant time in coordinating the audit and addressing the action items identified. Uncovered issues ranged from:

  • Fall hazards
  • Asbestos management and exposure plans
  • Identification of fire safety hazards and obstructions in spaces
  • Correct placement and labelling of portable fire extinguishers and exit signs

Please note the audit is over and above the substantial number of compliance questions the RCG property management team must answer quarterly.
